What do investors really seek from an investment? 1 min read
what are investors main agenda?
this underlying question is important because,
as a founder, you will need to adjust your offer to address every item on the
investor’s checklist.
if you answer this question the incorrectly,
you’re not just missing out on money:
you’re signaling that you don’t understand how investors think,
you’re just not speaking the investors’ language.
my answer would be:
1. ROI (Return Potential)
how much and how fast the investment can grow.
2. Protection (Risk & Security)
how well the investor’s capital is protected.
3. Deliverability (Execution Capability)
how capable the team is at turning plans into results.
4. Bonus: Alignment
show that your goals match theirs.
so …
how would you answer differently?
